Nuskin engaged Design Engine as a product development partner in commercializing the world’s first antioxidant measuring tool using Raman spectroscopy. This machine was jointly developed with the Pharmanex Scientists to measure the carotenoid levels in human tissue at the skin surface using optical signal. This BioPhotonic Scanner technology is the first application of it kind to obtain a biomarker of our body’s antioxidant defense network. The studio interfaced with a group of physicists and optical engineers and functioned as the “Skunksworks” in helping Nuskin in bring this new technology to market.
